Safety firm looks to emerging markets
Targeting emerging markets is at the centre of a safety barrier firm’s plans to double its turnover over the next 12 months. Knutsford-based Skipper designs and manufactures a range of barriers for the hotel and leisure, transport and utilities sectors. Exports account for 70 per cent of revenues and it currently supplies its products to 25 countries, including Canada, France, Germany, Netherlands, Australia, and the US.
It has also signed distribution deals in Russia and Chile and has plans to export to South America. Its main products include its patented Skipper unit, which is placed on top of traffic cones. Continue reading “Skipper TM in the news”
